A message from the Captain
A warm welcome to St George’s Hill.
The prettiest, and possibly the best, of all heathland courses in Great Britain.
The course designer was Harry Colt, regarded by many as the leading golf architect of his time.
The most notable difference between St George’s Hill and the heathland layouts in our area is the terrain. Full of outstanding moments, Colt’s classy routing rolls up and over steep hills, ridges and ravines with hard running, rumpled fairways and cleverly conceived greens.
The spectacular panorama from the front of the Clubhouse totally whets your appetite and on your return you will be welcomed by the friendly staff to enjoy a deserving drink.
