A nice Par 5 and the only one on the Green nine, If you are playing from the very back tee, take a moment to enjoy the view towards to Surrey Downs. From the tee a straight drive is required to avoid the right side fairway bunker. Running down the entire left hand side of the fairway is the practice ground. This is out of bounds but is protected by heather covered mounds; go over these and unfortunately it will be a re-load and a lost ball. The second shot again has to be straight, this time trying to avoid the bunker some 90 yards short left of the green and the large oak tree just beyond it. Long hitters may be tempted to have a go and get on in 2, it’s worth a try! The green sits raised up from the fairway and anything just short tends to get stopped by the incline. To the right is a single bunker to catch any pushed shots. The green itself looks very flat, but like so many greens at St George's Hill there are many subtle breaks.
